Currently en Puerto Rico — 17 de noviembre 2023: Se acerca el mal tiempo

El viernes marcará una transición a tiempo lluvioso e inestable a medida que un sistema de baja presión con posibilidad de convertirse en una depresión o tormenta tropical se mueva desde el Caribe hacia el sector de La Española y luego hacia las Bahamas durante el fin de semana. Los vientos localmente llegarán del sureste el viernes y del sur el sábado, lo que transportará humedad hacia Puerto Rico mientras también aumenta la inestabilidad atmosférica. La mayoría de los aguaceros del viernes se producirán en el sur y este. El sábado será el día más tormentoso, cuando comenzarán riesgos de rayos, ráfagas más fuertes e inundaciones en zonas urbanas y quebradas. Las inundaciones serán cada vez más prevalentes en los próximos días ya que las lluvias continuarán hasta la próxima semana cuando Puerto Rico se verá atrapado entre este sistema al noroeste y abundante humedad al sur. Al mismo tiempo, las condiciones marinas serán muy peligrosas debido al aumento de los vientos y un fuerte oleaje del norte, por lo que estarán vigentes Advertencias para Embarcaciones Pequeñas y Alto Riesgo de Corrientes Marinas, especialmente en el norte.
