Se espera que el lunes sea un poco más lluvioso ya que la humedad asociada con una onda tropical pasará por la región. Aguaceros dispersos y tronadas aisladas ocurrirán desde el lunes por la tarde hasta el martes por la mañana antes de que regrese el tiempo más despejado el martes por la tarde. Es probable que se desarrollen algunas tronadas adicionales por las tardes sobre el noroeste tanto el lunes como el martes debido a los vientos que girarán desde el sureste. Esto también impulsará las temperaturas al rango bajo de los 90 grados y los índices de calor a más de 112 grados a lo largo de la costa norte, por lo que se insta al público a tomar precauciones incluyendo la hidratación adecuada. Invest 96, una perturbación a cientos de millas al este-noreste de Puerto Rico, no representa amenaza para la isla.
